What not to do during a divorce?

Do not call your spouse’s parents as witnesses. Do not start a case without consulting legal counsel. Do not give up on filing an application for maintenance. Evidence of children’s expenses should be prepared, preferably in the form of invoices. Do not escalate the conflict and insult your spouse, especially when filing for divorce by mutual consent. All key information should be disclosed to the legal advisor/attorney. One must not be driven by emotions or a desire for revenge. Use social media, email correspondence, photos carefully.
