Any costs that are associated with the liquidation of the association can be paid from the assets of the organization. An association registered with the National Court Register faces the cost of court fees. First is the cost of notification of the initiation of the liquidation process of the organization (i.e. updating the data) in the KRS register and the second is the cost of filing an application for deletion from the KRS. Association without business activity (only in the register of associations, foundations, …): application to open liquidation – no fees; application for deletion from the KRS – 300 zł. However, due to different information in the courts, in practice, it is worth asking whether such a fee is definitely applicable. Association with business activity (in the register of associations, foundations, … and in the register of entrepreneurs): application to open liquidation – PLN 350 (PLN 250 court fee for amendment + PLN 100 for publication in the Court and Economic Monitor); application for deletion from the KRS – PLN 300. An additional cost may be things related to the preparation of documents needed in the liquidation process, such as a financial check, if the organization is unable to do it on its own.
